Professor Scott Shane's 2002 Management Science paper entitled, "Organizational endowments and the performance of university start-ups" has received the 2008 Greif Research Impact Award given by the University of Southern California's Marshall MBA Program

The award recognizes a paper related to entrepreneurship that appeared in the top-tier management journals six years ago and received the highest citations (based on social science citations index) in the five years following publication.  Learn more at http://www.marshall.usc.edu/greif/research/research-impact-award.htm
