Following up the highly successful 2006 Global Forum, specifically requested by UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, our own Business as an Agent of World Benefit launched the Northeast Ohio network of the United Nations Global Compact with an introductory meeting on November 29. 

Hosted by Chuck Fowler, CEO of Fairmount Minerals, and David Cooperrider, Ph.D., Fairmount Minerals Professor in Social Entrepreneurship, and Founder & Chair, Case's Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit, the goal of this network is to bring together leaders of the NEO region with other corporate leaders from North America in order to solidify sustainability as the region's core strategy.  Over 100 representatives were in attendance from key organizations in the region.
