Weatherhead School of Management is excited to recognize faculty who have been selected as exemplars in each of the areas of the profession: research, teaching and service.

The WSOM Enduring Impact Award recognizes the scholarly contributions of one who has had an enduring impact in their area of research. This year’s recipient is:
        David Cooperrider, PhD
        Fairmount Minerals Professor in Social Entrepreneurship
        Professor of Organizational Behavior

The WSOM Emerging Impact Award recognizes scholarly contributions that represent an emerging impact in their area of research. This year’s recipient is:
        Corinne Coen, PhD
        Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior

This year the teaching award committee reviewed 43 nominations by students and recognized three faculty for the Faculty Teaching Excellence Award:
        Diana Bilimoria, PhD
        Key Bank Professor of Organizational Behavior
        Chair and Professor of Organizational Behavior

        Mohan Reddy, PhD
        Professor of Design & Innovation

        Simon Peck, PhD
        Associate Professor of Design & Innovation
        Associate Dean of MBA Programs

Each year PhD and DM students select a professor who exemplifies excellence in teaching and mentoring. This year’s recipient is:
        Kalle J. Lyytinen
        Iris S. Wolstein Professor of Management Design
        Professor of Design & Innovation
        Associate Dean of Research

The Theodore M. Alfred Distinguished Service Faculty Award recognizes the outstanding service contributions of a faculty member to the school, university and profession. This year’s recipient is:
        Matthew Sobel, PhD
        William E. Umstattd Professor in Industrial Economics
        Professor of Operations
