Case Western Reserve University goes global for new Weatherhead School of Management dean

President Barbara R. Snyder announced that Robert E. Widing II, dean of the Macquarie School of Management in Sydney, will become dean of Weatherhead School of Management. The appointment represents a homecoming for Widing, who served on the Weatherhead School faculty from 1988 to 1993.

"Rob Widing possesses the depth of experience and breadth of perspective required to lead in an era of increasing complexity and international engagement," Snyder said. "He also appreciates the vital importance of strategic thinking, philanthropy and continuous improvement of academic offerings. We are pleased to welcome him back to Case Western Reserve."

Weatherhead Launches Global MBA

N. Mohan Reddy, PhD, Professor of Marketing and Policy Studies, recently traveled with Simon Peck, PhD, Professor of Marketing and Policy Studies and Faculty Director of the Full-Time MBA, to Shanghai to launch Weatherhead's newest degree program. The Global MBA goes beyond the usual international trip or semester of study abroad. In this program, candidates will spend one semester in China, one semester in India, and one in the U.S. studying with a cohort of students from each of the partner schools.
