Sustainable Enterprise is a core component of the Weatherhead experience—about half of Weatherhead’s MBA core courses now include components of sustainability.  The one-year, six-credit “Institute for Sustainable Value” is the flagship piece of the effort, and the school’s Executive Education offerings include the world’s premier courses on Appreciative Inquiry and Sustainable Value.

Meanwhile, Weatherhead’s Fowler Center for Sustainable Value customizes curriculum supplements for professors and also works with the school’s Net Impact chapter to develop a student experience that more holistically addresses sustainability—at home, at work, in values, in the classroom, through speaking engagements, and via extra-curricular experiences.

The MBA Institute for Sustainable Value

This one-year immersion course is dedicated to sustainability in practice.  Focusing on whole-systems approaches for Sustainable Value generation, the course offers in-the-field experience and classroom guidance with the world’s leading whole-systems practitioners.  Classes move beyond the triple bottom line and traditional approaches to corporate social responsibility and prepare students to be visionary leaders in any business climate.
