Roman Sheremeta is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, a Research Associate at the Economic Science Institute at Chapman University, and an Associate Fellow at the Purdue University Teaching Academy. From 2009 to 2013, he taught at the Argyros School of Business and Economics at Chapman University, after receiving his Ph.D. in Economics from Purdue University in 2009. Since 2013, he serves as an associate editor at the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization. Dr. Sheremeta is a recipient of many research and teaching awards, including Robert W. Johnson Award for his dissertation research, as well as multiple grants, including the National Science Foundation and the Max Planck Institute grants. His research interests include experimental and behavioral economics, conflict and conflict resolution, game theory, industrial organization, public and labor economics. He has published more than 30 academic papers in a wide variety of economic, management, psychology and political science journals, including Games and Economic Behavior, Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Peace Research, Journal of Conflict Resolution, Journal of Economics and Management Strategy, Experimental Economics, Economic Inquiry, Economic Theory, Economics Letters. European Economic Review, International Journal of Industrial Organization, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Journal of Economic Psychology, Journal of Economic Surveys, Public Choice, Social Choice and Welfare, and Theory and Decision. According to Google Scholar, his research has been cited more than 800 times. According to RePEc, Professor Sheremeta is ranked among the Top 50 Young Economists worldwide.
