Sam Thomas’s research is centered on the practice of investment science and valuation. His focus is on integrating an understanding of the global business cycle with corporate finance strategy and investment strategy. One of Thomas’ recent projects focuses on innovations in designing life-long portfolios by understanding phases of the business cycle and incorporating that knowledge with asset allocation that’s in keeping with investment objectives. His results are particularly relevant for investment strategists, pension finance, and social security design.
