Roman Sheremeta is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. He is also a Research Affiliate at the Economic Science Institute at Chapman University and an associate editor at the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization. Dr. Sheremeta received the Ph.D. in Economics from Purdue University in 2009. He is a recipient of many research and teaching awards, including Robert W. Johnson Award for his dissertation research, as well as multiple grants, including the National Science Foundation and the Max Planck Institute grants. His primary fields of interest are experimental economics and game theory, with applications that extend into a number of areas including behavioral economics, conflict resolution, industrial organization, public economics and labor economics. He has published over 40 academic papers in a wide variety of economic, management, psychology and political science journals, including Management Science, Games and Economic Behavior, Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Peace Research, and Journal of Conflict Resolution. According to Google Scholar, his research has been cited over 1300 times. According to RePEc, Dr. Sheremeta is ranked among the Top Young Economists worldwide. He is also included in the Forbes list of Top Economic Thinkers of Ukrainian descent.
