The federal Sarbanes-Oxley legislation has dramatically changed accounting and reporting practices for public companies. Richard Osborne’s work addresses larger private companies and explores how Sarbanes-Oxley can improve their governance. Richard brings relevant experience to the work from his years of service on the boards of a number of privately and publicly held companies. Another line of Richard’s research focuses on teaching effectiveness and explores how professors can build a lifelong learning relationship with students.
