Visual Thinking for Managers

Certificate

More

As managers face increasingly complex problems and situations, they often find themselves needing to think more like designers. One aspect that characterizes designers and design thinkers is their reliance on sketches. Sketching can be used to explore complex situations, solve problems, or sell ideas. Even if you don’t think of yourself as a visual person, you can quickly learn to use simple techniques to look, see, imagine and show more clearly.

The program will demonstrate the use of sketching for a variety of situations and address issues presented by participants. Examples of applications might include: identifying which features of your product line that are most in need of improvement; motivating professionals to share information that gives them a competitive edge; convincing others that a particular investment makes sense for your company.
