Influence is defined as the ability to move or impel (a person) to some action. Whether the challenge is getting your manager’s full attention and support for a project, or convincing your co-workers and peers to follow through, your ability to influence has a tremendous effect on your personal effectiveness on the job.

This program presents a new, dynamic, peer-learning format for addressing your greatest influencing challenges at work.  Patti Hathaway, Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) and long-time Weatherhead Affiliate Instructor, will lead participants through a problem-solving framework to address individual situations and challenging scenarios involving peers and supervisors.  Under Patti’s guidance, participants will take part in several small-group discussion, analysis and brainstorming sessions to develop satisfying solutions to pressing challenges.

This pilot class format is based on participants’ feedback for more opportunity to have individual situations addressed in class.  Seats are limited, and participants must register by January 28.  The examples and scenarios addressed in the program will all be based on the individual situations participants submit to Weatherhead, several weeks prior to the program.
