The world of business has never been more difficult. The world of families has never been more complex. When you put the two together, the complexity grows exponentially.

Most often a family business’ decline and ultimate defeat isn’t a matter of dollars and cents it’s due to poor planning and miscommunication fueled by underlying tensions and conflicts in the family. This presentation combines lecture and audience participation to examine the advantages and disadvantages of family in business. We will help owners and other family members recognize ways to capitalize on the family side of family business, and define best practices to insure longevity and profitability.
