ABOUT THE EDM ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

Fellow Alumni:

Welcome to our web site. I hope you will find it to be useful and informative. The EDM Alumni Association was formed with three main goals:

1. Keep EDM alumni connected and involved with the EDM program and life-long learning.
2. Encourage the community of EDM graduates to maintain a connectedness with each other.
3. Give back to the EDM program.

You will find that our web site fosters all three goals. On this site, you will find current information on the EDM program, its syllabi, and its reading lists. I am sure that you will find yourself adding to your collection of must-read books and articles. I hope that this will also encourage you to add our semi-annual EDM Alumni seminar days to your schedule. We will have information about these programs, which take place each January and August, on the site. We look to have them be topical ad informative. We want you to attend and be involved.

Our web site will also encourage our EDM alumni to stay connected to their colleagues. We encourage you to update your information in our alumni database and inform us of your activities and accomplishments. We will continue to keep expanding our database of publications and presentations by alumni. However, we will also use this site to keep you updated as to the whereabouts and life activities of our alumni. Remember, we need your participation to be successful.

Finally, we want to help you give back to the program. All the alumni I have talked to indicate that the EDM program has made a major, positive contribution to their lives. We encourage you to give back to the program that made this possible. We will have information about our annual Alumni Solicitation, and we encourage you all to participate with your classmates. You can additionally give back by coming back on campus and sharing your post-graduate experiences with the students and faculty at our EDM Alumni seminar day.
