EXECUTIVE DOCTOR OF MANAGEMENT (EDM)

 

EDM/MANDEL CENTER NONPROFIT FELLOWSHIP

Applicants to the EDM Program who wish to be considered for an EDM/Mandel Center Nonprofit fellowship should indicate their interest in a cover letter attached to the EDM application form. Applicants must also complete all of the application materials for admission to the EDM Program and meet the following two requirements:

  • Demonstrate a record of significant involvement within the nonprofit organization sector.
  • In addition to the seven regular essay questions required for admission, applicants who wish to be considered for the EDM/Mandel Center Nonprofit Fellowship must submit an eighth essay (limited to two pages) addressing the following questions: 
  • How have your experiences in the nonprofit field, your interests, and your professional goals influenced your desire for admission admission to the EDM Program?
  • What role(s)  or impact do you want to have in the nonprofit sector?
  • What audiences would be the primary users of your research and why?

A faculty/staff committee will review the application materials of all EDM/Mandel Center Nonprofit Fellowship applicants, and identify a select group of candidates who will be invited for personal interviews on the Case campus. Applicants to the EDM Program who are not awarded EDM/Mandel Center Nonprofit Fellowship may re-enter the regular EDM application process and compete for the remaining limited amount of EDM scholarship funds.

THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS TO THE EDM PROGRAM AND A MANDEL CENTER/EDM NONPROFIT FELLOWSHIP FOR THE FALL OF 2007 IS JUNE 4.
