BA/BS degree and MSM-Finance Integrated Program *

* This new program is contingent upon obtaining all of the necessary approvals.

The Integrated study program enables attainment of a BA/BS degree and a MSM-Finance degree in five years or less. This program is strongly recommended for BA/BS students who desire to leverage their quantitative and analytical skills developed during their undergraduate studies with specialized skills obtained from a master’s in finance that prepares them to make immediate contributions with careers in corporation finance, investment banking, equity research, investment management, risk management and corporate consulting.

Case Western Reserve undergraduate students are able to take up to 9 credit hours of graduate level BAFI/MSFI courses, as part of their undergraduate program, which will also count toward the MSM-Finance degree.

Students must apply for and be admitted to the MSM-Finance program. After completion of their senior year, students then enroll as graduate students in the Weatherhead School of Management needing just 21 more credits to complete their master’s degree.

While GMAT/GRE scores may be waived if certain requirements are met, admission to the MSM-Finance program is usually based on academic preparation and achievement (undergraduate coursework and GPA), GMAT/GRE scores and genuine interest in finance (determined from essay responses, letters of recommendation, and interview). As part of the integrated study program, students are required to design a comprehensive study plan with both their Weatherhead undergraduate adviser and the faculty director of the MSM-Finance program.
