MBA Concentrations

Concentrations add value to your degree by declaring a special area or areas of expertise and can be established after a minimum of 12 credits of elective courses are completed. In each area of concentration, emphasis is on developing focused knowledge and building management effectiveness skills as determined by each student’s Learning Plan. Click on any concentration listed below to see the full list of electives currently offered in each concentration, as well as suggested elective clusters for different career tracks.

Alternative Concentrations

Students may design alternative Concentrations which focus on developing skills and acquiring knowledge for a particular career or industry. (Most students pursue these alternatives as a complement to one of the above areas of Concentration). Weatherhead MBA students may receive elective credit for relevant coursework offered by other schools and departments at the University, including Law, Medicine, Nursing, Engineering, Applied Social Sciences, and Arts and Sciences.
