Labor and Human Resource Policy Division

The Labor and Human Resource Policy Division at the Weatherhead School provides training in negotiation skills for managers across the broad spectrum of management. For those seeking a career in the area, it provides opportunities to examine specific topics in depth. Each year from six to ten students concentrate in the area.

The faculty includes Paul Gerhart, Paul Salipante and Paul Tolchinsky, all with unique background and focus in their research and teaching.

Graduate courses include: Strategic HRM, HRM in High Performance Organizations, HRM in Entrepreneurial Organizations, Unions and Management Policy, International HRM, and Compensation and Benefits Management. In addition to these MBA level courses, the Division also offers opportunities for undergraduate as well as PhD study in Labor and Human Resources.
